Bui Thi Cuc is a postdoc in the “Immunity in Health and Disease” team at INEM, under the supervisison of Prof. Simon Fillatreau.

She studied Biotechnology at Vietnam National University, Hanoi University of Science. She completed a Master of Medicine at Wonkwang University's College of Medicine, South Korea, in 2017, followed by one year of research experience at Aichi Medical University, Japan.

She obtained her PhD in Immunology from Université Paris Cité in 2022, studying the role of regulatory plasma cells in autoimmune disease under the guidance of Prof. Simon Fillatreau.

Building on this work, her current postdoc research aims to translate it toward cell-based therapy for multiple sclerosis (MS) using induced regulatory B cells (iBregs). In animal models, she investigates how iBregs act on microglia and other CNS immune cells to drive disease resolution and uncover molecular networks, with the goal of identifying new molecular targets for for neuroinflammatory and neurodegenerative diseases.
