Pierre Isnard is awarded the Frank Bridoux Prize

A huge congratulations to Pierre Isnard on being awarded the Frank Bridoux Prize by the Société Francophone de Nephrologie, Dialyse et Transplantation (SFNDT).

This prize, with the aim of rewarding the best scientific work in nephrology accepted for publication in an international scientific journal, recognises Pierre Isnard’s exemplary work on the HNF1B transcription factor, published in Science: HNF1B integrates signals in a feed-forward loop driving kidney disease progression.

In this work, Pierre Isnard and colleagues from Marco Pontoglio’s and Fabiola Terzi’s teams, report the identification of a key molecular mechanism driving the progression of chronic kidney disease, a condition affecting more than 10% of the population.
