Katrina a rejoint l’équipe de Bénédicte Manoury en 2021 afin d’explorer comment la signalisation de TLR9 dans les cellules dendritiques murines façonne l’immunité antitumorale. Avant de rejoindre l’INEM, elle a travaillé sur la génétique du cancer, en particulier sur la dépendance aux oncogènes et les traitements anticancéreux ciblés. Elle s’est tournée vers l’immunologie du cancer à travers son intérêt pour la dissémination métastatique. Son projet actuel vise à examiner les voies tolérogènes de la signalisation immunitaire innée dans le cancer. 

Katrina joined the team of Prof. Benedicte Manoury in 2021 to explore how loss of TLR9 signaling in mouse dendritic cells shapes anti-cancer immunity. Before coming to INEM, she worked on cancer genetics, focusing on oncogene dependence and targeted anti-cancer treatments and became drawn to cancer immunology through her interest in metastatic dissemination. Her current project is to chart the tolerogenic pathways in the innate immune signaling in cancer.
