3-year postdoctoral position in Vincent Goffin's lab - Prostate Cancer

The lab of Vincent Goffin at INEM is hiring a junior postdoctoral researcher (0-2 years post PhD) for the second trimester of 2026. The position is offered for one year and renewable twice.

The project is fully funded by a Pharma, based on solid preliminary data (Baurès et al, EMBO Molecular Medicine 2026; Baurès et al, Nature Reviews Urology 2022), and aimed at validating innovative therapeutic strategies targeting castration-tolerant progenitor cells in prostate cancer. The candidate will develop and/or use various preclinical models of prostate cancer/CRPC, including transgenic mice, patient-derived organoids (PDOs), and human cell lines (in vitro and xenografts). Retrospective patient tissue biocollections will be used to validate prognostic and predictive biomarkers. The project involves established collaborative networks gathering biologists, urologists, oncologists, pathologists and bioinformaticians.

The candidate (m/f) should be highly motivated, self-driven, organized and rigorous, with required expertise in mouse studies (handling, injections, gavage, dissection, etc), cancer biology, and bioinformatics. Skills in classical experimental techniques (histology, IHC/IF, cell sorting, primary cell culture, qPCR, immunoblots, PDOs) and spatial biology are an advantage. A good level of English is required.
