Biosketch

Claire Vandiedonck, Ph.D., HDR, is an Associate Professor of biostatistics at Université Paris Cité specializing in multifactorial genetics of chronic inflammatory diseases. As a postdoc in Oxford, she drew the first transcriptional map of the human MHC. At INSERMBack in France, she now has been focusesing on integrative genetics of diabetes and its chronic complications. She currently leads the ANR-funded project GLYRISK on glycaemic risk signatures in type 1 diabetes.

Claire is also deeply involved in teaching bioinformatics/statistics and genomics/genetics. She developed Plasma, an award-winning e-learning platform. She is a member of the EduCom Committee of the European Society of Human Genetics (ESHG).
