I joined Dr. Guillaume Canaud’s team in April 2022 as a postdoctoral researcher to study the implication of the PI3K-AKT-mTOR pathway in metabolic and cellular physiology. I have obtained a PhD in Physical activity sciences from Université de Montréal (Canada) in early 2022. During my doctoral studies, I investigated the cardiovascular and metabolic phenotype displayed by a mouse model of neuropathy knocked out for the ion transporter KCC3. I also conducted an internship at Vanderbilt University (Nashville, USA) in order to characterize a corresponding gain-of-function mouse model. I have also contributed to several clinical studies in the field of kidney disease and overgrowth syndromes.
